- Only send deliveries to people who have agreed. You forward them our invitation.
- Goods cash collected on delivery belongs to the shop or sender. Couriers must return it.
- Some items are not allowed (section 9).
- If something goes wrong, send DISPUTE with your DN reference.
1About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Millennial Ultra Solutions (Private) Limited, entity number 105480A0242026, of Shop 52, Portal Village, 1 Portal Road, Highlands, Harare, Zimbabwe (“we”, “us”), whose product Deliver Now is.
They apply when you book, carry or receive a delivery, register a shop, join a shop’s staff, apply as a courier, or use our web portal. By using Deliver Now, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
2The service
Deliver Now is a delivery service that works in WhatsApp. We are launching in Harare, Zimbabwe.
- You book a delivery in a WhatsApp chat with us.
- Approved couriers carry it by motorbike, car or truck.
- Shops and couriers can view their records in our web portal. The portal is read-only.
- Our dispatch team runs deliveries and sorts out problems.
You need WhatsApp to use Deliver Now. WhatsApp is provided by Meta under its own terms.
3Who may use Deliver Now
- Couriers must be 18 or older.
- Everything you tell us must be true: your name, delivery details, and the details you give when you register a shop or apply as a courier. Keep them up to date.
- Do not pretend to be someone else.
4Booking a delivery
- Send NEW to book step by step, or ORDER to book in one message.
- Tell us the pickup and drop-off zones and addresses, the recipient’s name and WhatsApp number, what you are sending, the vehicle it needs, and any goods cash the courier should collect.
- We show the fare in the chat before you book. Nothing is booked until you send CONFIRM.
- You choose how the fare is set. With a fixed fare, the job goes to approved couriers who are online with the right vehicle, and the first to accept is assigned. With bidding, couriers offer a price within a range we approve, and you pick one.
- When the booking is made, you get a DN reference. Send TRACK with it to see the status.
- Describe what you are sending honestly. Do not send items we do not carry (section 9).
5Recipients must agree
Only ask us to deliver to someone who has agreed to receive the delivery and to hear from us about it. Do not ask us to message anyone who has not agreed.
- We do not message the recipient first.
- After you book, we give you an invitation link. Forward it to the recipient.
- When they open it, they get updates and a private receipt code in their own chat, and they confirm the handover there.
- Make sure the recipient’s name and number are correct.
6Cash on delivery
A courier can collect the price of the goods from the recipient on delivery. We call this goods cash.
- The recipient and the courier each confirm the amount paid, in their own chats. If the amounts differ, the difference goes to our dispatch team.
- Goods cash belongs to the shop or sender. The courier must return it promptly, by EcoCash or at our office.
- Goods cash counts as returned only after we have verified it. We pay goods cash out to a shop only after we have verified the courier’s return.
- Goods cash is tracked separately from courier earnings.
7Couriers
- Before your first job, we verify you: your ID, your driver’s licence and photos of your vehicle.
- Send ONLINE to get job offers and OFFLINE to pause them.
- Report honestly: pickups, handovers, goods cash collected and goods cash returned.
- Return goods cash promptly. It is not yours, and it is not part of your earnings.
- Protect recipients’ information. Use addresses and phone numbers only for the job, and do not keep or share them.
- Never ask for, or try to see, a recipient’s receipt code.
- Before you leave Deliver Now, or ask us to delete your data, return any goods cash you still hold.
8Shops and shop staff
- A shop owner can add staff by their WhatsApp numbers. Staff can then book deliveries for the shop.
- Staff you add act for your shop. You are responsible for the bookings they make.
- The owner can see and cancel bookings made by staff. Staff see only the deliveries they booked.
- By registering, a shop confirms it has permission to share its customers’ phone numbers with us for their deliveries.
- Keep your payout details correct. We pay goods cash out to the EcoCash number or bank account you give us.
9Items we do not carry
You must not send:
- anything that is illegal to own, sell or carry in Zimbabwe;
- weapons or ammunition;
- illegal drugs;
- hazardous or flammable goods, such as fuel, gas, chemicals or explosives;
- live animals;
- human remains;
- cash or valuables worth more than a courier may carry;
- items that need a special licence to carry.
If you are not sure, ask us in the chat before you book. Our dispatch team may cancel a delivery that includes an item we do not carry.
This rule is about what you send. It does not cover goods cash a courier collects on delivery (section 6).
10Cancellations
- You can cancel a delivery yourself until a courier is assigned: send CANCEL with the DN reference.
- Once a courier has been assigned, only our dispatch team can cancel it.
- Our dispatch team may cancel or reassign a delivery, for example if a courier cannot complete it or an item is not allowed. They record a note each time.
11Disputes
- If something goes wrong, send DISPUTE with the DN reference and the reason. For example: DISPUTE DN-7K2Q9P parcel damaged.
- Our dispatch team reviews it and records a decision.
- Differences in goods cash amounts also go to dispatch.
This process does not take away any right you have under Zimbabwean law.
12WhatsApp messages
- We send messages about your deliveries, your account and the service. We do not send marketing messages.
- Send STOP at any time to stop our messages, and START to turn them back on. We still answer messages you send us.
- If you send STOP, you may miss updates, including about deliveries in progress.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your messages and data.
13Suspension and blocking
We may suspend or block a number or account that misuses Deliver Now. Misuse includes:
- giving false information;
- abusing couriers, recipients, shops or our staff;
- sending items we do not carry;
- asking us to message people who have not agreed;
- not returning goods cash;
- breaking these terms in any other way.
A suspended account can still ask us to delete its data (see Delete your data).
14Liability
- We take reasonable care in running Deliver Now. We cannot promise that the service will always be available or free of errors, or that a delivery will arrive by a particular time.
- We are not responsible for loss or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures, power or network failures, WhatsApp outages, or civil unrest.
- We are not responsible for loss caused by false or incomplete information you give us, or by items you were not allowed to send.
- If we are responsible for a loss, our total liability to you for any one delivery is limited to the delivery fee you paid for it. This limit does not apply to goods cash a courier collected for you: we account for that in full, as section 6 sets out.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or takes away your rights as a consumer under Zimbabwean law.
15Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. If you keep using Deliver Now after a change, the new terms apply to you.
16Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Zimbabwe. The courts of Zimbabwe can decide any dispute about them.
